We encourage all members, staff, volunteers and friends of the Society to join in our Everyday Reconciliation initative. Reconciliation is everyone's business. We would love to hear from you and your community and what you are doing to foster the 'big and the small' of reconciliation, inclusivity and cultural safety.  

Send us a short message (include photos or videos!) to social.justice@vinnies.org.au describing your "Everyday Reconciliation" activity.  

Some examples are:  

• Deliver an Acknowledgment of Country before your Conference meeting. See page 2 of our Annual Report for Society NSW wording.  

• Find out and share an interesting fact about your local First Nations people, their country & culture.  

• Attend a First Nations event (e.g. upcoming NAIDOC weeks).  

• Complete the Society NSW's updated Djurali Cultural Awareness training on the MAVS Hub or MV Portal Learning  

• Watch the ABC Four Corners report on truth-telling.  

We will collate and showcase all of the amazing reconciliation efforts of our members, volunteers and staff. Thanks in anticipation!
